There is no general limit on the number of Challenge accounts you can own and trade at the same time. FREES MAX is the exception: it is limited to 6 purchases and resets in 24 hours, per trader or per IP address.

On Sim Profit Accounts, you may manage up to 5 active accounts at once, and at most 3 of them can be FREES MAX. These limits add up for the same household or the same IP address.

Taurus is a futures-only prop firm. You can trade equity index futures (NQ, ES, YM, RTY), commodities (GC, SI, CL, NG), currencies (6E, 6B, 6J, 6A), agricultural futures, metals, energy, and micro contracts.

Your account is reviewed as soon as you reach the profit target and respect the account rules.

On PRIME, FREES SAFETY and FREES MAX the challenge has no consistency rule and can be passed in a single day, so there are no minimum trading days. DIRECT PRIME has no challenge: you start on the profit account.

Your first payout is a separate step. On PRIME and DIRECT PRIME it takes at least 8 trading days, including at least 5 days with a net profit of $150 or more. On FREES, every payout needs 5 days with a net profit of $150 or more.

Yes. News trading is allowed, with no restriction on trading before, during or after a major economic announcement.

The usual rules still apply: a trade has to stay open for at least five seconds for its profit to count towards your daily P&L. A loss on a shorter trade still counts.

Spreads and slippage can widen during an announcement, because of market conditions Taurus does not control.

Your market data comes from the provider attached to your account: dxFeed.

Level 1 data (best bid and ask, last price and volume) is free on CME, CBOT, COMEX and NYMEX. Level 2, the fuller order book, is a paid monthly subscription taken from your dashboard.

It depends on the account. On an evaluation account, group trading is allowed: you can join a trading community, learn from a mentor, follow shared strategies and coordinate trades, as long as the Taurus trading rules are respected. There is no IP address restriction during the evaluation.

On a sim profit account and on DIRECT accounts, group, community, coordinated and externally managed trading is prohibited. The registered owner must be the only person trading the account, from their own device, location and IP address.

Copy trading, automated trade mirroring, group execution directed by a third party and coordinated signals producing identical entries and exits are not allowed. A breach can lead to the account being deactivated, pending payout requests being cancelled, and a permanent restriction.

PRIME, FREES SAFETY and FREES MAX evaluations have no consistency rule and no minimum trading days, so they can be passed in a single day.

When a rule is triggered, the system can adjust or invalidate only the trade concerned, instead of disqualifying the whole account.

Daily competitions are free to enter, and selected eligible traders may be invited to a separate Live Trading Program, subject to eligibility and contractual conditions.

No. Holding a position overnight is against the Taurus trading rules, and the same applies over the weekend.

Every position has to be closed at least five minutes before the market closes for the day. A position still open after that time is closed automatically by the system.

A profit made on a position closed that way is removed and does not count towards your daily P&L; a loss stays on the account. The account itself stays active, and this on its own does not get a payout request refused.
